Concession Worker

PeopleReady of Washington, PA  is now hiring Concession Workers! As an Concession Worker, you will prepare food orders, operate cash registers, process payments, and maintain the sanitary standards in the concession area.The Concessions Worker is responsible for greeting guest in a pleasant manner while filling food and beverage orders. The Concession Worker will operate the Point of Sale system and collect payment for purchased food and beverage items.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Event Concession Worker:

• Taking food and beverage orders and delivering items as ordered

• Preparing food items (hotdogs, hamburgers, pretzels etc according to standard recipes and ensure food is handled in a safe and sanitary manner

• Keep work area neat and tidy

• Stocking, cleaning

• Various tasks as needed for the success of each individual stand

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)  , 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Must be friendly and outgoing. ability to smile at and talk to customers

• Must be comfortable working around food and alcohol

• Must be able to perform safe food handling practices

• Excellent personal hygiene

• Ability to conform to uniform standards

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to follow direction and work as a team

• Ability to pass background check requirements

• Basic math skills required

• Ability to work a POS system for cashing out 

• Background Check Required
