Order Puller / Forklift Operator
PeopleReady is currently hiring Order Puller/ Forklift Operator for a great, local company in Tampa, FL.If you are a dependable and personable individual who is looking for a rewarding career with an established company, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will pull orders for customers and load orders onto our company delivery trucks. You will perform picking and loading duties using a forklift. Associate must have strong forklift experience as well as shipping, receiving, order pulling and inventory experience. This is a temp to hire opportunity with lots of room to grow within the company.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Order Puller/ Forklift Operator:
Following all applicable safety rules and procedures
Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory
Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment
Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries
Maintaining all products in a quality and marketplace condition
Keeping accurate inventory records
Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads
Estimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweight
Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material
Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of products at jobsites as assigned
Available shifts:
Shift Timings:1st shift (Day)
Steady schedule MonFri 6:00am 4:00pm.
Job requirements:
Minimum 2 years previous forklift strongly preferred
Knowledge in all applicable building material products is strongly preferred
Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by the customer to operate a forklift
Ability to stand, climb, reach, and twist throughout the entire shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs. with assistance
Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Background check and Drug test required
