PeopleReady Tile Setter in North Chesterfield, Virginia

PeopleReady Skilled Division is looking for a Floor Tile Setter. The candidate must have at least 3 years of commercial tile setting experience. The is a journeymen position and the ideal candidate must be able to work on their own. The experienced individual must have knowledge in setting, cutting, fitting tile around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools. Must be able to read blueprints. Candidates must have extensive knowledge in preparing, measuring, marking surfaces, mixing, and applying adhesive. Must have some of their own tools. Apply Today and Start Immediately!!!

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $32 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor to ensure components are working properly.

  • Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled.

  • Clean surfaces and prepare them for tiling.

  • Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit the determined pattern.

  • Ensure accuracy during the installation process.

  • Must be able to kneel and bend constantly

 Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3 years of commercial tile setting knowledge

  • Must have job references -Must have own tools

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be punctual and on time to start work

  • Must be able lift materials up to 75lbs

  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime when required
