PeopleReady of Newton, NC is now hiring Furniture Manufacturing Associates! PeopleReady Hickory is seeking Furniture Manufacturing Associates to perform various positions in a local furniture manufacturing plant. Positions are trainable and experience is not required but can be helpful.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15.00 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Furniture Manufacturing Associate:
Feed raw materials into production machinery
Assemble goods on production lines
Carry out basic quality and testing checks
Store goods and raw materials properly in a warehouse
Pack goods to be shipped
Shipping and Receiving
Cushion Work
Staging furniture
Inspecting work
Detailing
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary
Able to be in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
Able to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail
Frequent bending and stooping
Frequent walking
Ability to stand the entirety of the shift
Must be available to work the required shiftMonFri 6:00am to 4:00pm with occasional Sat work
Drug screening required
