Fill Station Operator

One of our clients is currently seeking Fill Station Operators to oversee the filling and weighing of cement trucks entering and exiting their facility.

As a Fill Station Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate weight measurements and compliance with regulations to ensure efficient operations.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 / hour.

What you'll be doing as a Fill Station Operator:

  • Operate weigh station equipment to accurately measure the weight of cement trucks entering and exiting the facility.

  • Record and document truck weights, including load weights and empty weights, using computerized or manual systems.

  • Verify paperwork and documentation accompanying each truck, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other personnel to coordinate weighing procedures and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of weigh station equipment

  • Monitor traffic flow at the weigh station and prioritize trucks for weighing

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and dispatch

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Previous experience operating weigh station equipment or similar industrial scales is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and document information.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with truck drivers and colleagues.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping purposes.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Background check and drug screening required.
